Punar Vivah 2 30th October 2013 Written Episode

Scene 1:
Location: On the road
Raj arrives at the destination, where he’s supposed to meet Sarita. She too arrives in the auto. she step out and looks tensedly at him. the auto drives away, leaving her. Vikrant’s car is stopped from the other side, by the policeman. he controls his anger and tries to show off his name, saying that he’s in a hurry. The police jokes why’s he in such a hurry, as if his wife is running away. vikrant lashes back in anger. Raj says that he was tensed thinking wherther she would reach in time. He says that they should move on, and start a nerw life, forgetting the past. But sarita breaks into an outburst saying that there wont be any beginning, and that she cares for relations of the past and the present, unlike him, who cant understand the importance of any relation in his life. she says that she never intended to run away with him. She explains her entire plan to him, and her intentions behind it. She says that in ten years she has been with him, she knows that he doesnt value any relation, neither marriage, nor love, nor family, nor blood. She says that she may have gotten married in any circumstances, but she values it, and he didnt value his marriage, his love for divya, the love that made them stay apart for ten years, even as a couple. She reminds him of divya’s sacrifice. She says that for her nothing is more important than vikrant’s family, and his happiness, unlike him, who if he managed his relations, would never have left divya, who did so much for him, and asks him to antagonize what she must be going through right now. As he progresses towards her, she tells him not to come closer or touch her, as he’s vikrant’s wife now, and he shouldnt impure her now. She tells him why he led him on, in his plan of running away, as she wanted him to come on the right track, for the sake of their friendship. she says that she succumbeed to his suicide threat, in mumbai, for the sake of both of their families, and she didnt want any more drama, in front of everyone. she says that she said yes, but not for him, for divya and his family. She wanted him to understand and come back saying that he cant leave his family, but that unfortunately didnt happen.

She says that god should never give a son, a brother, or a friend like him to anyone. Raj tries to clarify, but sarita goes on saying that something would have happened, if they are single, but now she is a wife, and a mother too, and she cant even think about leaving her child. She asks him, showing the tickets, whats he about to do, and asks him to go back to his family, and apologise to his waiting wife. She says that she cant respect a man like him. She says that she betrayed everyone. raj finally shuts her up, and holding her by the hand, he breaks into his own outburst. Vikrant finds raj and sarita together, and gets the wrong notion. He remembers sarita’s moments with him. He hears Raj, saying that he would talk, if she has spoken enough. He says that he didnt come here to run with him, as he had realised wht she wanted him to, that vikrant and abhi are her family now. he tears the boarding passes. he says that he realised his mistake, and didnt come here to run away, and had come here to tell him that he cant leave his family, s they are his life. Sarita is tensed and confused. Vikrant is surprised and lowers his revolver. Raj goes on explaining how he understood the sacrifice of his family, and how he got guilty about every loew level act of his. He says that he cant run away from his responsibility, and even after so much happening, divya still loves him, despite everything thats happened. He says that he couldnt be adamant neither about the marriage, nor the love, or the career. He says that he was confused and dint know what he wanted, and was always dissatisfied. He says that after ten years with her, he thought he can start afresh. He says that he didnt realise his destiny, and wants to apologise and start his life afresh now with divya, and understand the importance of relations in his life now. He says that divya has and will always be paramount. He says that he understnds this too, that she has her own family now, and that he would never bother her again. he folds his hand and apologises. she has tears of joy in her eryes. vikrant is tensed, being at a distance and not understanding whats happening. He begins to leave, but sarita stops him. Vikrant is furious at sarita. Just then, the night watchman starts hollering and he isnt able to hear what sarita says. Sarita says that she’s very happy, for raj and her descision, and wishes him all the best for his life ahead, and says that they would always be friends. she thanks him, for his act, and asks him to go as his love is waiting for him. He leaves. Vikrant untangles his feet, from the barbed wire, and looks at sarita, infuriatingly.

Scene 2:
Location: Jagotia’s residence and On the road
Merriment and celebrations are on in full swing, while divya participates in them, with a brave face, though extremely tensed in side. Kamla is tensed to see divya rushing out suddenly, in the middle of the dance.

Scene 3:
Location: On the road
As raj gets his car out, he finds divya waiting for him on the road. He gets out, and she asks what lacked in her love that he had to take this step. raj says that he was to run away, and didnt even think how would he survive without her, and started bothering sarita. He says that he couldnt do this, and couldnt leave, without her and his family, just because he realised that his life is with her, and sarita made him realise it. He says that he doesnt deserve forgiveness, but would she be able to, and want to marry him. he says that whatever may be the answer, could she forgive him. She hugs him tightly, and says that she would always be with him. Sarita is overwhelmingly happy, and wishes them to be like this forever.

As sarita walks out, satisfied that she finally achieved what she wanted to, she is oblivious that vikrant has taken his aim at her. But he is disturbed when he gets a call. sarita too hears it and is puzzled. He cancels the call and hides so that she doesnt see him. She turns aroundf and starts walking away, and vikrant comes out from his hiding, and aims at sarita, with frustration and extreme anger. He remembers Abhi’s threats, and his moments with her. he isnt able to fire, and lowers his hand, with tears in his eyes. He drops the revolver. the screen freezes on his tensed face.

Precap: Finding that he’s sleeping with his mouth agape, she closes it, while smiling. As she turns around to leave, she finds her pallu, stuck underneath his hand, while he’s asleep. She smiles looking at him.
