Physical activity like running or jumping is necessary to stay fit – Ayaz Ahmed
Ayaz Ahmed spared time to share his fitness mantra with us.
Television’s popular actor Ayaz Ahmed who is currently seen in Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan on MTV India, speaks to us about how he maintains his body and what is his secret behind this well maintained figure. Also, talks to us about his fitness regime. Have a look –
What does fitness mean to you?
Fitness for me is very important. Everyone must keep themselves fit because our body is like temple. The way you keep your temples clean and take care of it, similarly you must keep your body clean and take care of it by staying fit and healthy. One must involve themselves in any physical activity like running, jumping or so.
What efforts do you take to stay in shape?
When I am shooting, that time I concentrate on my diet because I don’t get time to do workout. So I follow a strict diet which is very difficult for me because Biryani is my weakness (Laugh). When I am not doing anything, that time I make sure that I go to gym and do my workout. Apart from that, I indulge myself into various activities like Martial arts, dancing and so.
Are you conscious about your food choices?
No, I am not at all conscious about my food choices. I eat everything.
Do you take protein supplements?
It depends, I do take protein supplements but only when it is required. Before doing Do Dil Ek Jaan, I did proper work out, took proper proteins and followed a proper diet as I wanted to get in shape because of the demand of my character in the show.
Is there any sports you are skilled at?
I have been a Martial Artist from last 14 years. I have won a black belt in Karate. This is the one sports that I have played a lot and has also won many championships.
A celebrity’s body you admire?
Sushant Singh Rajput’s body in Kai Po Che. His body looked perfect in that film with perfect cuts and shapes.
What is your fitness secret?
I am not gonna share my fitness secret with you ever (Laugh).
A fitness tip to your fans…
If you work out and are dedicated towards it then then it’s a very good thing. But if you don’t and want to become a fitness freak, then start picking up things what you like such as dancing, running or so.
