Scene 1
hakim says the day coming is going to be very difficult for jalal, anything can. All are very much tensed. Here jodha is praying when servant comes and informs that jalal life is in much danger because of your remedy. He is very much serious and big hakim hasnt come yet. Jodha prays to kanha that i did that to save innocent animals life and what happened, jalal’s life is at stake. I made this remedy as it worked for sujamal but here it showed its negative impact, she ask kanha whenever i go to do something nice, some bad thing happens, why? Hamida comes and says lets go from here, i know you didnt do anything intentionally but here anybody can attack you. hamida says you will not stay here lets go. Jodha says no i will not go else people will think that i did everything intentionally, i cant leave jalal in this condition. Hamida says i am not asking as mother but i am ordering as a queen and want to see order fulfilled.. Hamida takes her along. Salima presents food to all wives and says eat this last time as after that we all will eat poison as we have no place here without jalal. Ruks says i have the most right on this poison and i will eat it first, after jalal’s enemies will take everything from here along with us as they take out their enmity from us, i had the 1st right on jalal, i was the companion of his in life so in this death i will be his 1st companion. She grabs poison bottle and leaves. Salima cries.
Scene 2
here adham is enjoying hookah. When javeda comes and says all are sad for jalal’s health and you are enjoying wine adham says i drink it everyday. Javeda says i know it but people think that you are enjoying his life, they can throw us out of palace what we will do then. Adham laughs. Voiceover says that some wanted to remain with jalal in difficult time and some wanted to run. We see some wives taking jewelry and leaving saying after jalal this harem will be hell so lets leave. While one says i will not leave jalal and will take poison if he dies. Here adham is pacing around thinking when will the 24 hours pass, when will jalal die. Sharif listens all this and comes to adham. He says i got to know your dirty plans adham says i can destroy one who comes in my way. They takes out their swords, sharif ask dehli or agra? He says you have choice whether choose agra or dehli. Adham says if i dont agree to this deal. Sharif says then i will take everything. Adham says you are jalal’s brother in law and doing all this, sharif says you are his brother. They plans that hakim must not come to agra.
Scene 3
ruks offers the prayers, here jodha says to kanha that you are everywhere then do something. Jodha offers the prayer with bhajan playing. Here hakim is on his way, when adham’s soldiers comes, sharif’s soldiers also comes there. They think that they are against each other. All soldiers starts fighting and hakin stealthily goes from there. He reaches the palace, he tends to jalal and ask for that remedy and says only one person can make this. We see fbs when jodha thanks hakim for telling her the remedy. Fb ends. Jodha comes in room, hakim says i knew it you made it. He says i went to amer to tend sujamal years back and there i told her this remedy. Other hakim says then why this high fever, he says it is way of treating as it will take his pain, he says to jodha that i am happy you keep up my teaching. Jalal get the consciousness and is pointing at something. Nobody understands when jodha says that you cant drink water now, just wait for a while, hakim says yes give him after sometime. Maham thanks god that jalal is save.
Scene 4
the news that jalal is out of danger spread like fire in whole palace, all wives are happy. Hamida comes to jodha and gifts her Quran e pak as she went with jalal, jodha accepts it and remembers ajmer sharif moment when jalal told her how to pray in his religion, she prays like him. Hamida says how you know this? Jodha says jalal told me this. Hamida says strange i thought you will teach jalal. Jodha says nothing was different, it was like mandir, i felt bhajan in qawali. It was same like praying in front of lord but i saw jalal differently he was very much close to god like man feels god’s presence he was feeling like that, there he proved it wrong that he has no heart. Hamida says you both will come closer soon. Jodha is quiet.

jalal says i’ve listened that she had made remedy for me before hakim came, ruks says after giving you wounds whats the need for that, I’ve answered her back correctly on her mistake, i have given her tight slaps jalal says such small punishment for such big thing, ruks is stunned.

If someone who has never seen JJ before in this show, was to see the above scene , they would never believe that we are talking about two enemies – A Jalaal who married Jodha to turn her into a living dead or A Jodha who was obsessed with ” Sar kaat denge” and ” Hum aapse ghrinaa karte hain” syndrome. They will tell you that all they see a dying grief-stricken husband who is telling his deepest fears to his wife about the aftermath of his death. A forgiving husband who has no complaints from his wife who has indirectly led him to the death bed. All they will see is a shattered yet resilient wife who totally loves her husband and cannot bear the thought of anything happening to him. A husband whose eyes are closing with his wife by his side and a wife whose eyes are a waterfall of tragedy, terror and loss. A husband who is all set to say goodbye and a wife who is crashing heaven and earth to keep him back – to the extent of shaking his lifeless form and ordering him to get up.
The moral of today’s JJ sequence is that JJ do NOT hate each-other. All the ego, arrogance , aggression , venom spewing , verbal wrestling is nothing but an unconscious facade and a veil to their passion and need for each-other. Often, tragedy burns down all defences and offences and strips you of all the false veils that you use to guard yourself. It pushes your true self and your vulnerability into the spotlight – and that is exactly what happened with Jalaal and Jodha today. Especially Jalaal.
In his dying hour, the so-called cruel and dictatorial heartless monarch , did not blame or accuse Jodha of bringing him to the door of death. He knew she was guilty , but even in his ebbing breaths , he was kind to her – told her that its his fate to be alone , confessed to her that he didn’t want to die in Agra to see his loved ones collapse and his only regret is not dying like a soldier. For the first time, Jalaal showed his vulnerability and his anxiety to someone and no, he had no anger of ” Jodhaa, aapne hamaare saath kya kiyaa?” rhyme. And if someone is embracing of you in their dying hour, its TRUE. Jodha must remember this when her sanity returns.
Jodha had asked a silly wish at Ajmer Shareef – to teach a lesson to Jalaal – the same man whose future and life she had prayed for. And here came the lesson – not for Jalaal , but for Jodhaa. Jalaal has been sinking ever since the tiger attack , and its Jodha who is living the nightmare and the horror of his pain and agony. Every millisecond , she is dying inside thinking that she actually brought Jalaal to the door of death. We had always said that pride-ego-hatred are Jodha’s WEAPONS to counter Jalaal and safeguard her vulnerability. They are NOT who Jodha is. And we were proven correct , the moment the tiger approached. If you notice , its Jodha who steps in between the tiger and Jalaal with that fire torch, first. Not Jalaal who comes between Jodha and the tiger.
Her tears , devastation , guilt , a strange emotional outburst and a plethora of sentiments and anxieties that you cannot comprehend plunge forward when she sees Jalaal bathed in his own blood. The compassionate , kind and loving yet powerful Jodha of Amer steps forward as she tends to Jalaal and pulls him out of the interiors of the jungle to the periphery where the staff actually finds them. For the first time, Jodha goes through her realization that Jalaal is no ghrinit praani’ and she cares very much about what happens to him. Like a wild, madwoman ,she stretches her limits to keep Jalaal awake and get him out of the deep woods – crying, sobbing , apologising and feeding it to Jalaal like a truly distraught wife that nothing is going to happen to him. That he cannot die on her like this – he just has to live. Crossing the bars of physical strength and limitations , she pulls, drags and rides Jalaal towards the periphery of the woods. She keeps talking to him, she takes care of him like a baby , she recalls the sanctity of this institution of marriage and what Jalaal is to her. She imagines the trauma that Jalaal’s death will bring on Hameeda and Ruqqaiya. Infact , you see Jodha like you have never seen her before. And anyone can mistake her for a woman madly in love with her husband and going all out to save him. THIS IS WHO JODHA IS.
In the palace , there will be only accusations, blames and complaints for Jodha and am not saying they are wrong- Jodha’s foolish mistake has tattered Jalaal like a nylon curtain. But nobody except Jalaal has seen the horror, terror and emotions on her face when she struggled hard to keep Jalaal in his senses and take him out of the woods. Nobody has seen Jodha’s mad mulberry bush run to save Jalaal. Nobody saw her come between Jalaal and the tiger with that fire torch. Nobody saw Jodha howl emotionally at Jalaal that he is not going to die. Nobody saw Jodha clean up Jalaal’s wounds or saw her tie Jalaal to herself with her hand on his head to ride out of the jungle. Nobody… EXCEPT Jalaal. One cannot say just how much will Jalaal remember when he comes to his senses … but one hopes, that if nothing else, he remembers Jodha’s sobbing face , holding his face and bellowing to him in emotional fury – “Hum aapko marne nahiin denge.”
If Jodha can do so much for Jalaal when she apparently hates him, one can only think the limits she can cross for him, when she loves him.
I have no complaints from Jodha today. Yes, she did something extremely foolish and she must pay for the same, but this very mistake brought out the Jodha in her who can tell a dying Jalaal that he is not allowed to die. Abb zaraa Jodha bol ke dikhaaye kabhi, ki use Jalaal se ghrinaa hai, Jalaal khud ki hasee rok nahi payega .

precap is so confusing.. i did not understand what jalal said to ruks.. if he had said small punishment for big thing then ruks wud not be so surprised, right?? coz then ruks shud hav been happy dat jalal is speaking against her enemy jodha.. but her painful face at hearing jalal’s words means he said something in favour of jodha..
we hav to wait for tomorrow to know what exactly jalal said
