Scene 1
Jodha is crying and says this is all happening because me, he came here because of me, he has to bear all this because me, why i didnt die before seeing his pain, Jalal comes there and sits infront of her, he says why you are blaming yourself, you did justice and as judge you just punished me, Jodha says only i know how i gave you punishment, Jalal says i know you feel my pain before myself, we feel for each other, this is beauty of our relation but if you cry then how will i be strong, dont cry, he hugs her.
Soul talk- Jalal’s soul says that punishment was my lesson that he pain which i have given to others, i had to bear them too. Jodha’s soul says that punishment i remembered my whole life, you bore those hunter attacks but they left impact on my heart for life as you had to get that punishment because of my order.
Salim ask Qutub about force of Mirza, Qutub says they are 25,000/-, Salim says we are half of them, we have to clever, i dont want them to run away from our clutches, he hatches a plan for war, Qutub ask Salim why you are placing yourself at most difficult position in battle field? dont you love yourself a little? Salim says when the army head is leading his force then the whole force gets stronger, i want to assure my soldiers that i am with them till my last breath, Qutub says we will fight, Salim says you are lucky that you have someone(wife) who is waiting for you, who is praying for your life and the one i love doesnt pray for me, infact she curse me.
Scene 2
Anarkali is praying to God, Zil ask her to pray for Salim too as he has gone for war, Anar says i will pray for my force only and about Salim, he only loves the ghungroos of dancers, Zil says dont take him lightly, he has spend his life in war field, he is king and they do like dance bars but that doesnt mean he is not a good warrior, he is our next king, you cant think bad about him, also he is fighting for whole Agra so keep your personal grudges aside and pray for his life, she leaves, Anar thinks about Salim, Anar sits and prays for Salim, Rabba is pyar mein plays.
Moti ask Jodha how is jalal, Jodha says he is fine now, Ruks is with him, Jagdev comes there, Moti says i want to kill him as he made Jalal bear punishment, Jodha comes to talk to Jagdev, Jodha says to him that i know you must be hurt with Jalal’s matter, Jagdev says i know you must have felt bad by giving punishment to him as you are a lady, Jodha says its not about being lady but i think he was innocent, Jagdev says you have soft heart, i just wanted to tell you that tomorrow is Holi function, Kaushalia(head of village) says that you did great, our king has forgotten to give some happiness to his people, Jodah says nothing like that, it was king Jalal only who gave order that hindus can celebrate their festivals freely, she thinks to bring out truth of Jagdev soon.
Scene 3
Mehtab comes to Jalal, he says i am fine, she talk about her wounds, Jalal says i am warrior, i am used to it, you are working here as warrior too and we are proud of you, Ruks says we are, Jodah says comes there and says Jagdev ash arranged holi function, its time to bring out his truth so people realize that mistake is not yours but of the people like Jagdev, Ruks agrees with her, Jalal says so we will do it, i have sent message to Birbal, Jodha says now on Holi, his sins will burn too.
Jagdev comes to Jalal in Holi function and says i didnt let you go away from this village because i wanted you to see who i am and people like you are mere insects in from me, Jalal gets angry on him, Jagdev comes to Jodha and ask to lit Holi’s fire, Jodha says Holi is festival where people forget their grudges and we try to kill sins, Jagdev says great thought so i forgive jalal for his mistakes, Jodha says i want Jalal to lit the fire as he has already bore his punishment but why we people keep giving them punishment, why cant we give respect to the person who have bore punishment, he should be given chance to redeem himself so i want him to lit the fire, Jagdev says as you, Jodha gives candle to Jalal, he smiles at her, he lits the fire, Kaushalia ask to do Parikama(taking rounds around fire) and the couples will do it together, Jalal does with ruks, Jodha looks at him, Kaushalia ask her to come, Jodha says i cant come as it is for couples, Ruks says why not? you forgave my husband, i am able to be with him right now because of you only, you can come behind us, it will br our honor to have you, Jodha smiles and goes behind Jalal, they take rounds together.
Scene 4
Shama is irritating Haidar, Javeda comes there and ask what happened? Haidar says i cant bear this girl, you talk to her, he leaves, Shama says where did you go? Javeda says if she remain like this then Haidar will not marry her.
Jodha thinks that this is the first time, i wont be celebrating Holi with Jalal, Moti comes and applies color to Jodha and felicitates her Holi, Jodha applies color to Moti and Mehtabl, MOti says Ruks doesnt like colors, Jodha ask where is she? Moti says in her room.
girls are asking Ruks to come out of room to play Holi with them, Kaushalia comes and shoos away the girls, Ruks comes out and thanks her for sending them away, Kaushalia says one should not force anyone to celebrate Holi, we can use mind too, she applies color on her face, one girl throws water at her, Ruks shouts, she thinks once i go to palace then i will send this Kaushalia to jail.
Jodha applies Tilak to ill people, she wishes them Holi, Kaushalia says they all are happy because of you, Jodha says not because of me but because of Lord, she turns to see Jalal smiling at her, he points that he wants to apply on her, she nods no, Kaushalia ask what happened? Jodha says nothing, Kaushalia leaves, Jalal is approaching her with color plate, Jodha is coming towards him too, he trips and color falls on Jodha’s face, she smiles, sits to give him plate and touches his feet in process, jalal blesses her, Jodha leaves, Ruks smiles seeing them. Jagdev comes there and thinks that Today i will make jodha color in my colors, i will make this Holi special for her, Jalal finds Jagdev and comes to Jodha, he says its time to teach him lesson, till he is busy here, my soldiers will find out where he has hidden the grain cartons, Jagdev dreams of applying colors to Jodha, he says i will celebrate Holi with her at any cost, he throws color at her face, Jalal and all others are shocked, Jodha angrily looks at him, one man says that Jagdev shoud have been in limits, Jalal gets angry on him, Jagdev says i was throwing at someone else and you came inbetween, Jodha says it was not deliberate so i forgive you, jalal ask his soldier about grain cartons, soldier says we are not able to find it, Jagdev invites Jodha to come at his son’s school for function, Jodha thinks to not lose her cool infront of him, Jodha agrees to come, Jagdev thinks that this night will be with her only, Jalal thinks that this night i will bring his truth out.
PRECAP- Jalal gets angry on Jagdev, Kaushalia ask Jalal what he was doing with Jodha? i saw you with her? all are shocked.

March 18, 00:45There were many things happening today.
But the highlight was thrashing of Jagdev by Jalal, and he was tied upside down and given the same treatment – WHIPPING. And later the last 15 minutes were dedicated to Jalal’s “speech”.
This track, though started with a negative image of Akbar, but today the CV’s turned everything in favor of Jalal, and gave reasoning to prove that Akbar was right and did everything in favor of aawam.!
A Power packed performance of Jalal subtly supported by Jodha.
I missed initial part…I Watched but not heard. You all can give your views about that part. It was something about Mirza Hakim and it seemed that Jo-Ja planned something to trap Jagdev.!
Precap:
Sharif kidnaps Jodha. Mehtab stops him, Sharif slits her throat. We know fate of Sharif. He would be killed now. I think this week will be action filled. More of Jalal Jodha to come.
PS:
Yes i know, no Mughal Begum of Akbar was kidnapped, but all this is to garner TRP’s.

Fantastic episode Clap – really LOVED it – so happy that that lech JD is finally GONE – Big smile
It was a happening episode alright and so much was shown today – it’s rare for a JA episode to be so action-oriented / fast-paced. But then we have seen in Atifa track too that the initial story is dragged for weeks and then the climax is over in a single episode with many loose ends dangling.
The episode started with Jodha insisting on going to JD’s house so that she can expose him and clear Akbar’s name.
Akbar refuses to let her go there as he knows JD is NOT to be trusted. Ruq agrees with Akbar. What a turnaround for Ruq’s character! She is now suddenly such a sweet girl – so happily doing awaam seva, so adjusting in those surroundings, so accommodating towards AkDha’s love, so supportive of AkDha’s actions, and most importantly, so cooperative / understanding with Jodha. Is this the same Ruq who took away Salim from AkDha and turned him into an addict? There is such a difference between the two shades of this character! What a redemption – hats off to the CVs – they have whitewashed Ruq instead of punishing her.
I digress – let me get back to episode. LOL
Jodha is ziddier than Akbar and ultimately has her way. She says that Akbar should not use force to expose JD because the villagers worship JD and hate Surjan. So if he uses force against JD, that guy can cause a rebellion against Akbar and Mirza Hakim will reap the benefits. So Akbar agrees reluctantly. He wants to chaperone Jodha but she says that in that case, JD would be alert and not expose himself. She has to go alone to try and get him to confess to his crime himself.
Akbar then insists that he will follow her at a distance so that he can protect her if required. She agrees but makes him promise that he would not lose his self-control and he would let her investigate JD in her own way.
The two proceed to JD’s house and have a touching talk in the wilderness. Akbar acknowledges that Jodha has been with him thru thick and thin and has been his strength always. He says that if they ever get separated – an indication to their imminent separation after Jo is kidnapped – she should remember that he lives in her heart and she in his.
What a beautiful scene this was! It reminded me of the classic dialog – “Ab hum dono ka wajood ek hain, Jodha Begum. Aap ke bina hum nahin aur hamare bina aap nahin.”
What a couple this is – so much in love after so many years as if they are newlyweds on their honeymoon. Yet, their love is mature and rock solid – it has only grown more exquisite with age like wine and friendship. When this couple is on screen, nothing else matters – no extra character, no NR, no fault of the CVs – it’s just them and us and oh! the magic they weave in such few words, merely thru their glances and their facial expressions. It’s as if the world has stopped turning and time has come to a standstill. I could just go on looking at them forever. Sigh!!!
A tender hug before they part on their mission for the night. So sweet – but unfortunately witnessed by a “scandalized” Kaushalya who can barely believe what she sees.
Kaushalya is not hand in gloves with JD nor a doubtful character – just one of those meddlesome women who can never leave well alone. She’s not really bad though.
Jodha is shocked to see that there is no party at JD’s house really and is uncomfortable to be alone with him in his house. JD offers her a drink that she declines. She still bravely tries to complete her mission even though she knows that she is in big trouble. Or may be she is really not scared, as she had confidently told Jalal while parting from him – “I am not afraid because you are there to protect me.”
Akbar stealthily knocks out JD’s men and enters the room just as JD is about to make in indecent move to touch Jodha. Akbar is not jealous. He is ANGRY and how! He cannot accept it that any villain can dare to make advances towards his Jodha. His promise of self-control flies out of the window as he gives a fitting punishment to JD, hangs him upside down and whips him maniacally.
Meanwhile Hakim Mirza receives Shareefuddin’s message that SD is going to kidnap Jodha to capture Jalal. Hakim is shocked and extremely angry with SD. I LOVED Hakim in this scene – what a devar!!
Jodha had wondered once how Hakim could forget the love they had showered on him. Well, he has certainly not forgotten Jodha’s love.
Hakim’s man says that SD’s idea is good. Hakim shouts at him and says that his enmity is only with Jalal Bhaijaan and he still respects Jodha Bhabhijaan. He says that no war justifies disrespecting mothers and sisters and he would not stand it. He wants a message sent to SD that if he kidnaps Jodha then Hakim will break off their alliance.
He is bad but not a cheap guy like SD / JD. Thank God!
Forgettable scene of Haider, Shama and Javeda.
Another forgettable scene of Anar and mother. Anar’s mom is sick and so Anar plans to go to some dargah on her behalf the next day.
Coming to the climax.
Kaushalya is narrating with mirch masala added what she saw to the villagers. Everyone is shocked and enraged by the time AkDha reach there with JD. Akbar starts to describe JD’s crimes when Kaushalya stops him and says that first she wants to know why he was hugging Radha / Jodha. AkDha are shocked and Ruq, Mehtab and Moti are also worried by the attitude of the villagers. When things start getting out of control, Akbar finally blurts out that Radha is none other than MUZ and he is Akbar.
(Sorry folks – I was wrong yesterday – I thought Kaushalya was accusing JD of touching Jodha but she was accusing Akbar instead.)
JD accuses him of being an impostor and the villagers are ready to stone him. Just then Fazl and Birbal reach there with soldiers and capture JD.
Abhay – you had mentioned Akbar sending soldiers to nab JD in a comment on old thread. He had sent his soldiers to investigate the case of the missing Mughal rations and not to nab JD. Your cousin had asked about Akbar’s spies. Well, spies did report to him quite a few times. Smile
The villagers are still angry with Akbar. But he convinces them in an emotional outburst that they are his children and he had taken all steps for their benefit only. That he hadn’t slept a wink since their troubles started. That MUZ, Ruq and he had come there to help them in their hour of need and expose the real culprits like JD who were stealing the food that the Mughal sultanat was sending for the poor and redirecting that food to the enemy camp. That he had only wanted to construct the fort for their protection because of the frequent attacks on them from outside. That he had offered recompense to those whose land had been taken away.
All in all, it was an appeal from a king to his awaam, from a father to his children – from heart to hearts and it touched the right chords among his awaam. All anger dissolved and the awaam was once more with Akbar. Jodha and Ruq were ecstatic to see the awaam hailing Akbar once more.
What about Shah Mansoor? CVs – please, we still remember that Shah Mansoor is very much part of the conspiracy against Akbar and is still at large. Pls expose him too soon.
Precap: Abhay described this already. Smile Looks like SD will kill MEhtab and kidnap Jodha. Sorry Abhay, but I cannot control myself here.
Jodha is the reason why I watch JA and she is the reason why I stop watching JA sometimes because I can’t take her disrespect.
How can they show anything wrt Jodha – fake pregnancy, doubts on her character then and in Sujamal track, her walk thru the jungle with the apeman, SD’s leching, and now JD’s leching and finally kidnapping?!
She was the Queen Mother of Hindustan – no one could even see her shadow, let alone touch it. What the heck is wrong with CVs to show her in such disgusting scenes? OK, SD has to be punished but there can be other ways to achieve this. Why a kidnap sequence of the Queen herself???? Even for TRPs this is UNFORGIVABLE. I hope the TRPs plunge to abysmal depths and this show shuts shop if the CVs continue in this degrading treatment of MUZ.
Akbar may blame himself for Mehtab’s death – hence the dream that she was punished for his mistakes and that he would seek vengeance. Likely that Akbar will kill SD this time. Let’s see tomorrow.
All those who missed the episode today – pls watch it – esp the part where Akbar reveals himself and appeals to his people, followed by the initial AkDHa scenes. Must watch.

This is a heartfelt plea to save this embattled serial from an untimely death. For the past almost two years, my life has revolved around this serial when I became addicted to it SOLELY because of Rajat and Paridhi. To save this show ,I humbly put forward my reasons for the show’s sorry state at the moment and suggestions that may help if the makers/CVS are serious in wooing back the viewers.
In my opinion the three main reasons for the serial’s dismal showing at the TRP ratings chart are:
1. The over-exposure of Rukkaiya and the negativity she espouses.
2. Salim’s infuriating attitude towards his parents
3. Salim-Anarkali track
My suggestions for improvement:
4. END RUKKAIYA’S GLORIFICATION AND SUPREMACY- EXPOSE ALL HER INJUSTICES AND PUNISH HER
There are no two ways about it- it is about time Ruks is punished for her heinous crimes. She is:
4.1. a cold-blooded murderer who mercilessly and ruthlessly emptied a bottle of poison down Resham’s throat.
4.2. a heartless accomplice in the murder of a dasi who found out about her fake pregnancy
4.3. a stone-hearted woman who demanded one of Jodha’s twins and was responsible for their deaths but managed to twist the events to blame Jodha.
4.4. a step-mother from hell who got Salim addicted to opium
4.5. an unfit royal begum and betrayer of her husband’s trust and friendship by deceiving him on so many occasions that it is impossible to name them all. Some include her fake pregnancy, poisoning Salim’s mind against him thus causing a long-lasting rift between father and son, encouraging Jalal’s suspicions on Jodha’s faithfulness, putting Jalal’s life in danger when she adamantly encouraged his marriages to Benazir and Atifa just to spite Jodha. Not once has she showed true concern for him. Even the latest trip with him to the village is not because of her care for Jalal or the common folk but of her ulterior motive to snare him away from Jodha.
4.6. a traitor to the Mughal Sultanate who defies the King’s decree as she wishes.
4.7. a shameless conspirator who bribes palace doctors and staff to do her bidding.
4.8. an intolerant and racist begum who has victimized and ill-treated poor and helpless Hindus.
4.9. a narcissistic and egoistic witch who loves no one but herself. Her claim to love Jalal (which was non-existent before Jodha entered Jalal’s life) is purely to maintain her position and power. If she really loved Jalal, she would not have caused him grievous pain time and time again – demanding one of the twins thus separating the baby from his biological mother just to become MUZ; her refusal to hand over one of the twins to Jodha even after his impassioned plea to return the baby when the first twin was murdered. Love is an alien word to Ruks.
After committing all these atrocities, she remains unapologetic and unrepentant and continues her evil, scheming ways.
Her punishment thus far for some of the evil deeds mentioned above has been one last warning after another, loving hugs and a slap on the wrist by Jalal – WHAT THE H**LL?
The CVs have conveniently swept all her dastardly crimes under the carpet and made her an angel in the eyes of Jodha and Jalal. How sickening !
If Mahamanga, Jalal, Jodha, Salima Begum, Bakshi Banu, Adham Khan, Shariffudin and Mann Singh have all been punished for their purported misbehaviour, why has Ruks been given BLATANT IMMUNITY?? It simply DEFIES LOGIC.
5. LIMIT RUKKAIYA’S SCREEN TIME
5.1. If Mahamanga can be ousted from the show and Salima Begum and Hamida Begum sidelined, why not Ruks? Her presence in the epic Jodha Akbar love story is not required beyond what is necessary.
5.2. In the Bollywood Jodha Akbar magnum opus, the character of Ruks was not portrayed at all which clearly shows that her role in this love saga is inconsequential.
5.3. The dominance of Ruks in the TV serial clearly demonstrates that Lavina Tandon aka Ruks is the golden girl of the Balaji Production House. Hence the importance and glorification of the character in the serial. The makers/CVs must differentiate in wanting to project their blue-eyed girl and the demands of the character. After almost two years of her scheming ways, JA fans have had enough and want her to be put to rest.
5.4. Just as we were looking forward to only AKDHAcentric tracks to entice the viewers back to the show, they had to make it an unsavoury three-cornered affair by including the nauseating Ruks in the latest track. Ruks has always been in the thick of things butting in between Jalal and Jodha when her presence is not required and unwanted at all. Again this is because of the makers/CVs’ obsession with LT. They seem to forget that one of the reasons why many viewers abandoned the show is BECAUSE of RUKS!!!!! Her presence in the show right from the beginning can be likened to a cancerous cell that was allowed to fester and has now left the show fighting for survival.
5.5. Balaji Telefilms can always offer their darling girl (LT) the lead in one of the many new serials launched by them. Why give her importance in a show that clearly doesn’t need her to dominate it?
5.6. Lavina’s portrayal of a villainess is so clichéd and unimaginative- the screaming, the tantrums, the nauseous smirks-it is downright irritating that it drives one up the wall .If Lavina thinks that it is because of her great acting prowess that the character is so hated, she is sadly mistaken. Her depiction of the character makes us want to pull our hair out. On the other hand, Ashwini Kalsekar’s portrayal of such a negative character is classic.
6. STOP PORTRAYING AKBAR AS A DITHERING FOOL WHERE RUKKAIYA IS CONCERNED
6.1. As a mighty King, Akbar is able to mastermind the defeat of his enemies and claims to be aware of all the goings-on in his palace, yet, he can’t even smell the rat that is Ruks right under his nose.
6.2. On two separate occasions ,he found Salim under the influence of drugs. In the first , he was gullible enough to accept Ruk’s explanation that Salim was tired. In the second, he believed the hakim (who was predictably asked to lie by Ruks) who said he had high fever. Jalal should know by now that the palace hakims are notorious for lying (as in Ruk’s fake pregnancy) and yet he fell for it hook, line and sinker when he was so sure that Salim was high on drugs. LOL.
7. STOP DUPING THE FANS
7.1. We want the real deal. WE WANT RAJAT AND PARIDHI IN ONE FRAME not fakes/dupes/body doubles.
7.2. This entire week (Week 11) of the track in the village has been such a MAJOR LET-DOWN because of the excessive use of body doubles for the lead pair. WHY? WHY? WHY?
7.3. It was a double whammy week because on top of having to watch the backs of dupes, the episodes were also Ruks-dominant. SHEER TORTURE!!!!
7.4. It got so bad that I didn’t watch Friday’s (13 March 2015) episode at all .I want to watch RT and PS not some dupes whose backs are a pain on the eyes and the less I see of Ruks the better.
7.5. Watching body doubles/dupes was so UNPALATABLE and DISTASTEFUL that it made me want to cry wondering if this is how it is going to be from now on. Don’t RT and PS want to work together anymore? If that is the case, please END the serial now and don’t torture the faithful fans of this show. While it would be a sad day indeed when the show ends, it is more merciful than making fools out of AKDHA lovers. We don’t deserve this treatment after being the reason for the show’s golden days when it ruled the TRP chart.
7.6. The show has yet to recover from the Salim-Anarkali debacle and now this. Just as we thought the tracks were becoming Jalal-Jodha-centric, they fool us by having fakes/dupes depicting PARIJAT. I seriously wonder if the production team is qualified to handle a show such as Jodha Akbar. They seem like novices who are learning their trade on the job making one blunder after another and the victims are the fans.

10.1. Are the makers/CVS/production team producing this show to feed their egos or for the sake of millions of JA fans all over the world? Listen to us. Make us happy and we will return the favour by watching the show again and giving you the TRP rating that the show deserves.

IT LED US TO BELIEVE THAT JODHA AND JALAL HAVE BEEN ENJOYING HOLI OVER THE YEARS. ( WHO CAN FORGET JODHA’S FIRST HOLI WHICH ENDED IN A DISASTER OF HUGE PROPORTIONS)
