Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 2 4th December 2013 Written Episode
The Episode starts with Astha talking to Anjali. Anjali says stop arguing, this is not your dad’s house, she says this food is not good, you need to have potatoes in it, don’t do this mistake again. She says give this dish to anyone poor and make the dish again. Astha takes it and leaves. Avdhoot says Kalindi, I m trapped in a big problem, they are doubting me of bribe and they are starting the enquiry on me. Kalindi says how can this happen, I don’t believe that they can do such thing. Ajju says don’t worry, you won’t be caught as you are honest. Avdhoot says I don’t understand how this happened, is someone after this? Kalindi says maybe we can ask Niranjan’s help. He says no, I don’t want Astha to hear some taunts because of me.
jyoti’s mum in law is trying jyoti’s gold earrings. Abhay comes to her and says what did jyoti do. He says I stopped her from talking on phone, what should I do, keep an eye on jyoti or talk to her family. She says you take care of her family, I will see jyoti. She says find the weak person in that house and take him in your confidence. Abhay thinks Sojal is the weak person in that house and thinks she is be his help from now on. He thinks of gifting Sojal something. She says I will buy this gold and buy something for her. His mum laughs.
Astha serves food to everyone. Niranjan asks Anjali to serve him food. Astha looks at them and makes some food fall. Shlok is shocked. Everyone looks at her. Astha cleans it but Shlok holds her hand and does not leave. Bharat smiles.
Shlok looks at Astha. Niranjan says Astha, the food is really good. Astha says thanks. Shlok says really, its very good, I did not know you are such a good cook. Astha is annoyed. Shlok says if everyone likes the food which you made, then you should make food daily. Niranjan says fine and leaves finishing the food. Shlok and Bharat also leave. Anjali sits for having food. Astha takes a fresh plate to have food and Anjali scolds her saying don’t you know love increases when you eat in your husband’s plate. Astha says how can someone eat like that. Anjali says like I m doing, we don’t throw the remaining food, if husband leaves over some food, a wife should finish it.
Astha feels this odd and takes Shlok’s plate and feels bad to eat it. She says sorry, I think love increases when we sit together and eat, not eating the left over food, I won’t eat this. Astha leaves from the table. Anjali says you have to eat this way if you want to have food, else be hungry, got it. Anjali looks at her with anger. Astha leaves. jyoti serves food to Abhay and his mum. Abhay smiles with his mum and speaks nicely to her.
jyoti says I will have food later. He gets angry. His mum taunts jyoti and says don’t you know you will have to eat food in his plate with the left over food. Abhay washes his hand in the plate and says what will she eat now. His mum says don’t worry, I will make her eat food. He smiles. jyoti is tensed. Abhay says don’t know where is my sweet wife lost. She says you will get her back till tonight. Abhay’s mum scares jyoti with a stick and says you made me apologize to everyone, then how can you be fine. She says you insulted me infront of everyone, now see how I take revenge. (Two devils in human form- Abhay and his mum, poor jyoti!!)
Its night, Astha is crying in her room. Niranjan sees Astha crying. He comes to her and says Astha…. She wipes her tears. She says you, I was…. He says I promised your dad that I won’t let tears come in your eyes, will you not tell me why are you sitting in darkness and crying, did Shlok tell you anything, tell me. Astha thinks how can I tell you whats Shlok’s reality. She says no one told me anything. Niranjan asks what is the matter, tell me. Astha says I was missing Ajju, as she did not come in my marriage. He says I will ask Shlok to take you tomorrow to your home to meet your parents. He says don’t worry about Anjali, she looks strict but is soft hearted. He says everything has a solution, goi and rest now. Astha leaves.
Niranjan says Shlok…… He comes to Shlok and asks where is Astha. Shlok says she might be in her room, why. Niranjan says sit. He says a husband should know what his wife is doing and where. Anjali comes there. Niranjan says take Astha to her house tomorrow, she is missing her family. Anjali says its our ritual that a bahu leaves after dying, I don’t like her going to her house so often. Shlok says fine, I will take her tomorrow as dad is saying. Shlok leaves.
Anjali asks is it necessary for Astha to go. Niranjan says where were you when she was crying, it was me this time, next time it maybe anyone. Anjali says I will explain her. He says explain her how much value she should give to her parents and it would be good if Astha understands this soon. He says am I right. Anjali says you can never be wrong. Anjali thinks about Astha.
The next morning, Anjali is doing the puja at home. Astha comes to her and touches her feet. Anjali says I m letting you go home as Niranjan told, but if you cry infront of him again, I won’t leave you, stay with your family if you miss them so much, I don’t melt seeing your tears, come back till 12, as you have to make food before 1. Astha cries. Anjali says go now, Shlok is waiting for you outside. jaya sees this and smiles.
jaya says Anjali, Sojal don’t come to my house like this, its been 7 years. Anjali says who is stopping me, you can take her with you now. jaya laughs and says I was joking. Anjali leaves. Shlok brings Astha to her house. He says stop, I brought you here as dad told me, if you do anything which I don’t want, it won’t be good for your dad. He says where is your smile. She says I loved someone, and he away my smile. Shlok laughs and leaves. Avdhoot is worried at home. Ajju asks him not to worry and have trust in Bappa. She says talk to Astha, you will feel good. He says no, she will know everything if I talk to her and she will be worried. Astha comes home and Ajju is happy to see her. Astha smiles.
Astha hugs Ajju. Astha says see how slim you are now, she jokes with her. Avdhoot and Kalindi are happy to see her. Ajju asks where is Shlok. Astha looks on.
Precap:
Astha asks Shlok why is he after her dad, he should take revenge from her, not her dad. He says I was showing you that I do what I say, its just a sample for you.

Once the pooja ends the women will be asked to follow an age-old orthodox custom where the wife will drink the water that was used to clean her husbands feet.
According to sources a high voltage drama is what the viewers will get to see in the upcoming episodes of the show as Aastha will be seen going against these rituals and the Agnihotri family. Aastha will refuse to follow the old tradition and question it leaving Anjali (Gitanjali) and the entire family annoyed.
