Balika Vadhu 21st August 2012 Written Update

Scene 1:
Location:Shiv’s house in jaitsar

Shiv’s family is discussing that they have asked anandi to come along with them to jaipur for their engagement ring selection.Shiv expresses his doubts about Anandi’s will to go and the need to go so far when they could do the shopping in jaitsar itself. But iravati explains that its necessary for them to spend some time alone together for themselves and not just on the situations concerning jaitsar.Alok then goes on to recall his similar incident with iravati and how they found alone time for each other.And iravati asks everyone to get ready.Everybody disperses but choti maa stays behind and voices her concern regarding anandi’s behaviour towards shiv and enquires if he really is happy to which shiv silences her doubts saying that anandi’s failed first marriage and then her mother’s death have shaaken her bad but she would soon be back to normal.so there’s no need for worrying.And goes out.choti maa is still wondering about the whole situation.

Scene 2:
Location:Shiv’s house in jaitsar

Everyone is ready next morning for leaving for jaipur.Dadaji asks anandi to sit in front with shiv, but sensing her discomfort and on iravati’s signal takes it back.They proceed on their journey,where shiv is at times distracted by anandi in the rearview mirror and doesnt notice a road bump,and is reprimanded by dadaji for the same.

Scene 3:
Location:Jagat’s house in mumbai

Jagat comes back and sees gauri applying mehendi and asks what is the occassion to which gauri evades the question.jagat enquires about her work to which she replies saying that she has taken a few days leave to be with her mother.Jagat sees a box lying and is reminded of bade papa and enquires gauri about his coming. she evades that question too making up an excuse that he had called and postponed his program since he had to go to kolkata.Jgat leaves,gauri expresses her concern to her mother in solitude about hiding bade papa’s truth from jagat to which her mother prays that the truth should hopefully never come out.

Scene 4:
Location:Jewellery store in jaipur
Dadaji comes up with a novel idea that they should let shiv and anandi each select their own rings separately so that it is a test if shiv understands anandi and her choices or not.And as expected shiv selects the same ring that anandi wants for herself.Everybody is happy. Just then dadji is stuck with a ring in his hand but anandi is able to let it slip out by appluing oil on his finger.When dadji jokes about the incident,anandi smiles and shiv is very happy to see that.

Scene 5:
Location:jagat’s house in mumbai

Gauri since she has hennna on her hands requests jagat to feed her ,he obliger her and they share a romantic moment with gauri wondering that she and jagat are going to start a new life tomorrow without any more troubles or fights.The screen freezes on her happy face.

Underlying message: A husband wife relationship is balanced on the delicate level of trust.Therefore even the slightest misunderstanding or secret can hamper this relationship.

Precap:On one hand,gauri dressed as a bride is mocking sumitra’s photo that finally her wifely love won over sumitra’s maternal love,and that she won jagat from her but on the other hand in the market jagat accidentally brushes past bade papa and bothe are surprised to see each other.
