Are you liking the new angry Viren in Ek Haazaron Mein Meri Behna Hain?

Yes absolutely. It is called a new shade of a character, so I am really liking it.

After Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, what kind of roles are you looking for?

After the show I would want to take a break .That is my plan, I have been shooting non-stop for the last 4 years so I would like to take it a bit easy.

According to a website Shaantanu and Khanak (Yashashri Masurkar) are one of the top most evergreen jodi’s, what do you have to say to this?

I think it is really sweet. People loved Shaank and bravo to the writers who wrote it and the actors who portrayed it.

How would you react if a fan fainted on seeing you?

I would rush her/him to the hospital. That will surely be my first reaction. However I think someone really needs to be that extreme to react like this.

Your favourite movie and song at the moment?

Last year I saw this movie called Hugo by Martin Scorsese. It is brilliant animation film and I loved it. My favourite song at the moment must be “Be Inteha” from Race 2.

The best gifts that you have received from your fans?

There are a lot of fans who send gifts for me. I have received pictures of me and my co-star, different chart papers with pictures on and I got an Ipad. So everyone with an idea to send me something is very sweet.

How do you prepare for your scenes and what is your thought process before you start shooting for them?

The first part of my preparation begins with make-up, getting into my costume. These are the major aspects to get into the character. Then I like to read my lines and the scene I have to do. In fact I read the lines of my co-actors too. All this helps me get into the skin of the character I portray.

There are a lot of fans who have only one question for you, “Why are you so handsome that our hearts skip a beat”?
I think that is just very sweet of them.
You have a great voice. Any plans of turning that into your career?

I actually do not have time since I am acting currently. I want to become a better actor and a bigger star and the day I accomplish it, I would love to sing as well.
